What is Third Party Insurance?
A third-party Insurance policy is mandatory for all vehicles driven in the Bahamas. It covers damages caused to a third party of their property due to an accident involving the rental vehicle. Third party insurance does not extend coverage for driver of the rental vehicle, or the rental vehicle driven by the renter.

What is Comprehensive Insurance?
A comprehensive car insurance policy combines the advantages of a third-party policy and renter’s damage plan. You get extensive coverage against third-party liability and renter’s damage in case of an accident. The policy also covers the renter against personal accidents.
